Love Kinsale – I Do!
It seems that the whole world wants a piece of Kinsale right now and the media have been buzzing and talking about all things Kinsale!
Last week the ‘Grace E’ was spotted sailing into town. This luxurious 240ft ‘super yacht’ costs more than €600,000 a week to hire is and is managed for charter by Burgess. It is believed to be owned by 72-year-old Bob Stiller and his wife Christine. Mr Stiller built his fortune on a coffee empire known as Keurig Green Mountain, which sells single-serve K-cup pods.
Drone pilot Daniel Foran captured this visit as well as some amazing aerial views of Charles Fort, James Fort and the harbour that marks the start of the Wild Atlantic Way.
In the weeks previous, we had movie & media billionaire Barry Diller, (husband of Diane Von Furstenburg) also grace our shoreline in the world’s largest privately owned yacht, known as the Goddess of the Seas. Believed to have come from Antigua via the Azores, the media mogule didn’t miss his chance to experience Kinsale for himself. Read the full story here via Irish Examiner.
