The Bubbly at Ballinacurra House is a themed cocktail fusion bar, celebrating the fab funk and soul superstars circa 60’s/70’s/80’s with a bit of New York Studio 54 added to the mix, set against the backdrop of the glamour and glitter of the classic champagne bars of the era.

The Bubbly Bar at Ballinacurra, soundchecks  the retro themes of  an extraordinary cast of music superstars from the genre, including  Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, to more recent soul divas such as Amy Winehouse et al that have provided an unofficial soundtrack to a generation.

Inspired by the stay  of “King of Pop” Michael Jackson, who resided at the estate for several weeks, prior to his untimely death,  and the owners visits to quirky themed bars in Tokyo – The Bubbly Bar is ready to Pop . Fizz. Funk.

 

As well as the glamorous fit-out featuring neon, velvet, a glitzy backdrop of coloured marbles and specially commissioned soul inspired wallpaper, The Bubbly Bar will serve exclusively the luxury Veuve Clicquot champagne – with its “Let Life Surprise You” style.

 Veuve Clicquot is a premium French champagne providing stunningly cool merchandising, with special flutes glassware and deco ice buckets. The croquet lawn at the property will also be turned into a Champagne Garden with their signature yellow outdoor furniture – perfect for summer garden parties. There is also the newly  revamped – covered Outdoor Conservatory Lounge, with mobile bar, Pizza Parlour and smoking area.

 

 

The Bubbly Bar complements the recently re-invented wood shed at the property – now the Cuban Cocktail Lounge – following a sourcing trip to Havana. It serves the best Havana Club Mohitos and Cuba Libres this side of the Caribbean – with specially trained mixologists combining the best rum ingredients and mint from the garden of Ballinacurra House, Kinsale – Ireland’s Premium Private Hire Estate.
